Community College was the quickest and cheapest way for me to start higher education in the United States. I am an international student from Shanghai, China.
Going to Community College introduced and prepared me for the college system in the United States. It showed me the teaching style I would expect to see in the classroom and introduced me to the field that I really enjoy now!

WHAT I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW
If you are 95% sure of what your interest is and do not have any financial worries, go ahead and do the 4-yr university. However, that reality isn't the majority of us seeking a higher education so the community college option is actually a very good place to start and get your head around what you actually want to do.
