I chose to go to community college to have more options. I wanted to experience college, even if it was not at a four year university just yet. By going to a Community College I have had the extra resources and time needed in order for me to feel supported and continue with my education.
Through my experience at community college there has been many classes that sparked my interest that I otherwise would not have though to take. One such subject is American sign language. I have taken two American sign language classes so far and they're really enjoyable!

SOMETHING TO KNOW
The services provided by my community college really helped me stay focused on school. There were lots of support staff including tutors, professors and counselors to help me in math and sign language.
Community college should be seriously considered not just for the benefit of low cost but for the services it provides students.
