Traditionally Untraditional was founded in order to help better educate our communities about their options for higher education. We hope give each student the tools they need in order to be successful and an open space to ask the questions bothering them most about the next step toward their future.
In order to accomplish this goal Traditionally Untraditional invites students and their parents to locally held events to engage with our Traditionally Untraditional Representatives.
Events include a variety of meet ups focussed on general Q&A about community college/study abroad, personal insight question advice, finance information, and personalized one on one appointments with representatives.

Public community event. Come to the community college presentations from local community college counselors, current community college students, gap year program representatives and Traditionally Untraditional founder Alex and team member Caleb.

ONE ON ONE WRITING WORKSHOP

Public meet up with Traditionally Untraditional Team members to workshop transfer personal insight question (PIQs) essays for their fall application. The goal is to help students build an essays that reflect them to the fullest while editing grammar/structure. Helping members are successful transfer students at UCs and CSUs with previous tutor experience in a variety of majors.
